Artwork Guidelines

For the sharpest print quality, we recommend submitting artwork in the following order:

Raster artwork should be:

• Minimum 300 DPI
• Sized at actual print dimensions
• Free from pixelation or compression artifacts

The following are not recommended for printing: screenshots, social media downloads, images copied from websites, and low-resolution logos.

Whenever possible, submit vector artwork. Benefits include:

• Perfect scaling
• Crisp text
• Clean cut paths
• Highest print quality
• Best results for decals and vehicle graphics

Please convert all fonts to outlines before exporting.

For the best color reproduction:

• CMYK files are preferred.
• Pantone (PMS) colors are recommended for brand-critical projects.
• RGB files will automatically be converted for production.

Please note that colors displayed on monitors, phones, and tablets may differ slightly from the finished printed product.

If submitting artwork with contour cuts:

• Place cut paths on a separate layer.
• Use closed vector paths only.
• Do not overlap cut lines.
• Maintain adequate spacing between cuts.

If your file does not include cut paths, we'll create them during production when applicable.

When applicable:

• Bleed: 0.125" (1/8") on all sides
• Safe Area: Keep important text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line.

This prevents important design elements from being trimmed during production.

To avoid font substitution:

• Convert text to outlines, or
• Include the font files if editable artwork is required.

Every order includes a complimentary pre-production artwork review. Our team checks:

• File integrity
• Resolution
• Sizing
• Bleed
• Print compatibility
• Cut path compatibility
• Basic layout issues

We'll contact you if anything needs attention before production begins.

Minor production adjustments are included whenever possible, such as:

• Background removal
• Image cleanup
• Minor resizing
• Adding bleed
• Creating contour cut lines
• Small alignment adjustments

More extensive design work—including logo recreation, vector tracing, custom illustrations, or major layout changes—may require a separate design fee.

When a digital proof is provided, please review it carefully. Verify:

• Spelling
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Colors
• Dimensions
• Placement
• Overall appearance

Production begins only after your final approval. Masterpiece Decals & More LLC cannot be responsible for errors approved on a customer-approved proof.

Production begins once:

• Payment has been received
• Print-ready artwork has been submitted
• Any required proof has been approved

Artwork revisions or proof changes may extend production timelines.

By submitting artwork, you confirm that you have the legal right to reproduce all logos, trademarks, copyrighted material, and licensed artwork.

Masterpiece Decals & More LLC reserves the right to refuse production of any artwork that appears to violate copyright or trademark laws.
